Who is Jason Miller
In 2001 Jason launched Jason Miller Studio. By 2004 he was recognized as one of the stars of the emerging Brooklyn design scene. In 2006 his work was featured in “Design Life Now, The National Design Triennial” at the Cooper Hewitt Museum. Jason was named one of the “Best Breakthrough Designers” by Wallpaper magazine in 2007 and a Surface magazine “Avant Guardian” in 2009. In 2010 he was named “Young Designer of the Year” by the Brooklyn Museum. His work is a part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Arts and Design, the Corning Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum. Today he is recognized as one of America’s leading contemporary designers. Jason’s designs often draw on everyday aspects of contemporary American culture to create objects that are sometimes as much conceptual art as they are contemporary design. In 2010 Jason started Roll & Hill, a contemporary American lighting company producing work from some of the best designers in New York and abroad.
